Three colors dominate the logo of the SEA Games in 2011 each had a special meaning.
VIVAnews - Logo SEA Games in 2011 was officially launched at the show 300 days ahead of the SEA Games XXVI, Saturday, 15 Januri 2011. The event was held in Indonesia Airuku Theater, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, East Jakarta.
Indonesia for the fourth time elected as the host of the SEA Games sports event. Multieven biennial will be held in two places, namely Palembang and Jakarta in November 2011.
Executive committee has chosen the eagle as the logo image SEA Games in 2011. Three colors dominate the picture, namely blue, green, red and each had its own meaning.
Blue describes the archipelago sea that unites all the difference. Green marks the number of group of islands, forests, and mountains that harmonize. While red is the symbol of the spirit burning to provide the best for Indonesia.
"Why choose a picture eagle? Yes, because the eagle is a symbol of our country," said Chairman of the Committee for the SEA Games in 2011, Rachmat Gobel told reporters after the launch event, Saturday, January 15, 2011.
Regarding the SEA Games mascot, 2011, Rachel admitted his side had to make choices. Unfortunately the Director of PT Panasonic Gobel Indonesia is not yet willing to tell told reporters.
"There has been, but we have not announced today. Later there is another show about the mascot," said Rahmat.
The launch itself was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports, (Menpora) Andi Mallarangeng and Chairman of KONI, Rita Subowo. Also present Governor Sumatra Selatan (South Sumatra), Alex Nurdin.
The launch of the logo SEA Games in 2011 is also filled with action line of top artists, such as Afgan, Project Pop, and Marcell Siahaan. In addition, the audience was also entertained the action dancer and magician Dedy Corbuzier.
Meanwhile, the SEA Games in 2011 will bring into 44 sports. Olagraga Branches are divided in the same amount in both regions. Each of the 22 sport branches in Jakarta and Palembang 22 sport branches. • VIVAnews
